To all those lucky enough to draw a tag for the up-coming AZ elk season. Good luck, and have a safe hunt. We expect to see some awesome pictures posted by 264 x 300 (elkheaven forum member), since he was one of the tag holders for 2009.

Mine is on the right a 6x6 missing his fifth on the right side. The other is a 5x5 missing his 4th on the left side.

Awesome bulls. Tell us the story in more detail if you get a chance. Did you spot and stalk? Were you able to find elk with that snow? You mentioned 3 shots on the Colorado page. Where did they hit? Was this bull alone or in a group? What unit?

Found him while tracking what I believe to be another big bull's tracks in the snow. Took two hits to bring him down with the second being a double lung hit. I was sure happy when he tipped after the second hit.
